- From the discovery work completed to date high level requirements have confirmed that we need to focus on defining a number of new processes.
- Who the specialist will work with
- The Business Analyst will work with the Programme Lead, the business and key stakeholders.
- What the specialist will work on
- We are looking to recruit a Business Analyst with experience working on complex public sector IT and business transformation projects to work with our Project Team during Discovery Phase work to deliver a number of baseline system artefacts including models, diagrams, catalogues and for ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ process maps

- The Business Analyst will initially be required to work onsite 5 days a week for face-to-face meetings with users.

- Experience of the end to end System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) with exposure to SCRUM / agile development
- Good understanding of case management system design and functionality
- Good understanding of the technical elements (UI, workflow etc) of case management systems
- Experience of eliciting function requirements (FR) and non-functional requirements for (NFR) from end users
- Development of analytical artefacts including models, diagrams, catalogues and maps
- Developing ‘as is’ system functionality baselines for legacy systems i.e. what functionality does the system currently have and how does it perform
- Conducting gap analysis for ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ system functionality
- Experience of and can demonstrate ‘As is’ and ‘to be’ end to end process mapping
- Experience of working with third party suppliers
- Good interpersonal skills and experience of being able to influence stakeholders
- Nice-to-have skills and experience

- Have experience aligning disparate requirements into a single process
- Have experience helping users to define clean processes and move away from processes based on ‘the way we do things’
- Experience delivering pragmatic not gold-plated requirements
- Experience of working on public sector IT-enabled business transformation projects / programmes
