About the work
- Why the work is being done
- ARP is looking to procure specialist PMO resources to support the existing opportunities and address improvement areas within the existing ARP PMO function for a period of 12 months from 1 March 2018.
- Problem to be solved
- The current PMO focus is centred on administration. However, ARP has a strong objective to create a PMO which is more directive and assurance led and one that has disciplines centred on/ around the Programme Master Plan. Work has begun to recalibrate and restructure the PMO function and to design and deliver a new PMO service offering.
- Who the users are and what they need to do
- The ARP Programme Plan is an emerging programme; it is the collection of a set of existing stand-alone projects in to one programme governance structure.
- Early market engagement
- A scoping exercise has been conducted and has resulted in a series of findings that will require immediate delivery of priority work packages to address a number of improvement areas.
- Any work that’s already been done
- Existing team
- The existing PMO team comprises: 3 PMO Managers, 2 PMO Support Staff and 1 PMO & Technical Support Staff. We are also actively recruiting for 2 PMO Analysts to start in the New Year.
