- We are looking for someone to lead a team of Dynamics 365 developers, working with Solution Architect. You'll take a leadership role, mentoring and coaching our in-house team and taking an active role in continually improving deployment capability and maximising deployment reliability and quality in all environments.

- Who the specialist will work with
- You'll be working alongside Chelmsford City Council's in-house digital services team, which includes specialists in MS Dynamics 365 and Azure. This is a business facing role, and you will also be expected to work very closely with the SMEs in core back office functions, such as Accountancy, Finance and HR.

- Working alongside an in-house team, lead development of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solution to replace existing back office systems, including finance and HR, working across Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Field Service and Dynamics Operations. Coordinating full integration with Sitecore Experience Platform.

- We'd prefer that you work on-site as much as possible, as a key deliverable for this programme is to coach and mentor our internal team and this is part of a wider transformation programme. Expenses are to be included in day rate unless specifically authorised.

- An exceptionally strong background in Dynamics 365 development
- Demonstrate experience of leadership of development teams and the development of colleagues.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to motivate others
- Have the ability to identify and document tasks from User Stories provided by Business Analysts
- Be responsible for preparation of all release content and documentation, ensuring it is fit for purpose
- Plenty of experience in continuous integration and continuous delivery (using tools like TFS, Visual Studio, Release Management
- Be able to perform peer reviews of code and documentation in order to ensure that procedures and standards are followed consistently.

- 1. Have you put this role, through the HMRC Tool for IR35 Determination yet ? The "Off Payroll" legislation is not about the person, it's about the position / role and it is up to you as the client to decide on the “status” of the role, regardless of supplier.

- Few developers will have worked with Dynamics 365 as it is now licensed, but the core platform that underpins the product is mature. However, we do recognise that we are looking for someone unusual in the marketplace and we are challenging you to think creatively about how you best manage our requirements. At the very least, the candidate should have solid and recent CRM development experience with exposure (perhaps within a wider programme) to AX. After evaluation, we will shortlist and conduct one stage Interviews w/c 24/7. Day rate is as published. Team of 6/7 developers.
