- Who the specialist will work with
- The programme is comprised of a mixed team of Civil Servants and client side consultants supplemented with SMEs both client and supply side. The programme team also comprises seconded operational and retired Police Officers. The programme also utilises one large supplier (Application Development Support Partner) for most of the build activity associated with LEDS and a collection of small SMEs focused on activities such as data migration, testing and data quality.
- What the specialist will work on

One of NLEDP's key objectives is to determine the future need for new services to make national data easy to access by frontline officers to inform local policing decisions.
As Business Analyst, you will support the NLEDP delivery teams by analysing and defining requirements to make sure that the projects that deliver them are built and run to align to the service vision, meeting business and user needs. You will be the link between the current and future business models, supporting and enhancing delivery.

Croydon - Working arrangements
- Individuals working client side will be required to work onsite at HO buildings in London and / or Croydon 5 days per week. Agreement may be given for occasional remote / homeworking subject to IT and delivery constraints. Home Office IT will be provided though given there is currently a freeze on rollout of HO end user compute devices, an option for consultants to bring their own laptops, accredited for the CJSM network would be desirable, subject to agreement of a Security Aspects Letter outlining controls.

- T&S will not be payable for travel to sites within the M25. Travel outside of the M25 will be subject to HO T&S policy

- Significant experience of working in a fast paced environment, applying PM methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall, with a deep understanding of the project lifecycle, project definition and scoping principles
- Proven track record of translating strategy and end-to-end business design into detailed products
- Demonstrable ability to visualise, articulate, and solve complex problems and concepts, and make disciplined decisions based on available information.
- Experience of driving data/business analysis and data/business modelling to support articulating problems, benefits realisation and technical design
- Substantial experience of establishing and developing productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, with demonstrable ability to recognise, anticipate and effectively deal with existing or potential conflicts at all levels.
