The specialist will work with Department for Education project managers, National College for Teaching and Leadership business leads and National College for Teaching and Leadership CRM project managers.
In addition, the specialist will be expected to work with Home Office testing team and external developers. - What the specialist will work on
-
Development of both Oracle Service Cloud and Microsoft Dynamics customer facing portals and back end databases, including (but not limited to);
1) creation of new objects and customisation of existing objects,
2) creation of new portals and customisation of existing portals,
3) provision of specialist technical advice on new Oracle Service Cloud and Microsoft Dynamics developments.
4) manage and support an e-learning Drupal platform and supporting Umbraco Content Management System.

Work setup
- Address where the work will take place
- Whilst the bulk of the work can be completed remotely the specialist will be required to attend occasional face to face meetings in Nottingham. We anticipate that the specialist would need to spend at least one day per week in Nottingham.

All expenses must be pre-agreed with the Department for Education and must be in line with policy.
Contract will be for four days per week for one year (and when prearranged for an additional day per week). - Security clearance

- We will be using CRM.
- 6. What is the preference of skill sets as Oracle/ MS Dynamics are competing technologies and Drupal/ Umbraco are also very similar?
- Both Oracle and Dynamics experience are required equally. The Drupals instances are Apache Drupal Postgrestql on Linux CentOS, Umbraco like MS Dynamics .NET in a windows environment.
- 7. Does this role need any type of security clearance?
- No clearance is required however the successful candidate will need to undergo Disclosure Scotland.
- 8. Can the candidate work all 5 days of the week from Nottingham office?
- Yes, the candidate can be based at our City Centre office 5 days a week if required.
