Who the specialist will work with
The Delivery Manager will be working with the Finance Programme Team, Senior stakeholders, external stakeholders, one other Project Manager, Data Migration Specialist, BI/MI specialist, Solution Architect, Project Support Analyst, Dedicated Finance Representative.
What the specialist will work on
1. Management of multiple workstreams;
2. Management of internal and external stakeholders; Addressing stakeholder issues ensuring they are fully engaged and able to support the delivery;
3. Ownership of all project plans, RAID logs and highlight reports;
4. Accountable for project budget;
5. Delivery of all products and services capable of releasing the benefits as defined in the business case;
6. Work on all aspects of the system implementation;
7. Integrations with other systems – data requirements;
8. Facilitation of workshops;
9. Gather outcomes-based requirements;
10. Develop Best practice process maps;
11. Documentation throughout the project;
12. Transition into BAU

Working arrangements
The Delivery Manager must be on-site 5 days a week to lead the team throughout the project lifecycle.

Reasonable expenses, in line with the Innovate UK Policy, will be paid as and when the project requires. E.g When travelling on Innovate UK business, the most efficient and economic method of travel should
be used at all times. For environmental as well as economic reasons, public transport should be used wherever practicable. All travel and accommodation wherever possible must be booked via the centrally agreed process.
Security clearance
The Delivery Manager must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement.

There are no weightings applied to each of the individual essential and nice to have skills and expertise criteria. The overall weighting for technical competence is 70%. The overall weighting for cultural fit is 10% and the overall weighting for price is 20%.
5. Please can you explain the roles and responsibilities of the "other" Project Manager and how do these relate to the Delivery Manager. Who is responsible for the delivery of the HR and Finance solution?
This advertised Delivery Manager role is responsible for the delivery of the HR & Finance system. The other project manager will be running the technical side of the project, e.g. data migration, integrations, decommissioning of systems.
6. Can you please outline the key milestones with dates for the project?
We cannot give all key milestones until the procurement of the new system has been completed. The milestones will then be worked out with the supplier of the system, however we can give you the intended contract award date: May 2017 and the expected completion date is Feb 2018.
7. Could you please let me know if you have declared this role inside or outside of IR35?
