- The specialist will be an experienced Delivery Manager in running an Agile team. Managing day to day delivery, development of milestone plans, managing risk and dependencies. Running Agile Ceremonies ,contributing to the overall reporting of the DWP Place product Delivery Teams, upholding DWP values, working within Government Digital Standards.

- Who the specialist will work with
- The specialist will work with the existing DWP Augmented Teams, this will consist of DWP Digital staff and other 3rd party suppliers engaged in Service Now development work
- What the specialist will work on
- Need to have Delivery Management experience, preferably agile. Able to Sprint plan, lead Agile Squad, manage risks, feed into broader DWP Place roadmaps, conduct Agile ceremonies, Stakeholder engagement, reporting, dependency management. Knowledge of Service Now or knowledge of delivering Integration components desirable but not essential
Work setup
- Address where the work will take place
- Primarily at the DWP Digital Corporate Hub2- Peel Park, Blackpool - although there may be a requirement to work from other DWP locations in the North West.
- Working arrangements
- Specialist will work 5 working days per week . Attendance on site will be 40% of the specialist's time in accordance with DWP's Hybrid working policy. The remainder of the specialist's time will be working remotely . Required days of attendance will be determined by DWP management The specialist will be required to be online between the hours of 8:00AM - 17:00PM Monday to Friday

- Experience in managing a Digital Delivery
- Risk Management: Issues and Dependencies
- Stakeholder Management, Communication, presentation and faciliation, able to run key Agile Ceremonies such as stand-up retrospectives.
- Demonstrate experience of working in a large scale organisation and/or Government or Public Sector installation of Service Now
- Providing support and guidance to members of the delivery teams and acting as a point of escalation for issues impacting delivery.
- Experience of stakeholder engagment, managing stakeholder expectation, ensuring stakeholders are kept up to date with progress, risks and issues
- Ability to plan sprints and undertake Milestone Planning .
- Remove blockers from the Agile sprints to allow the squads to complete stories assigned or escalate where appropriate
- Nice-to-have skills and experience
- Knowledge of Service Now and or delivery of Digital integration requirements
