About the work

Why the work is being done
To enhance the business intelligence available to diagnostic imaging services across North West London and improve the management of patient pathways. It is part of a 3 year strategic plan within the North West London Integrated Care System. The work outlined will need to be completed by 31/03/2023 as part of the first phase of this plan alongside two other interconnected areas of work.
Problem to be solved
Limitations on the analysis of radiology data to inform operational and strategic decision making.
Who the users are and what they need to do
As an operational manager or clinician I need to make the best use of the activity data within our systems so that I can provide the clearest and most accurate information possible to staff and decision making bodies within my own organisation and wider Integrated Care System
Early market engagement
Any work that’s already been done
The system has been initially developed by Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (ICHT) using existing NWL Trusts' clinical information systems, having undergone discovery and alpha project delivery stages. ICHT are now seeking partners to further develop and expand the system's capabilities and provide more complex, responsive reporting to the North West London Integrated Care System as a whole.

Questions asked by suppliers

1. Does the organisation have a supplier in mind and also would you consider one supplier for all 3 published projects?
We do not have a supplier in mind and would welcome submissions from any supplier able to meet the requirements of the project. We would be open to considering one supplier for all 3 published projects if the supplier is able to demonstrate their ability to deliver across all requirements.
2. With regards to responding to each of the essential and non essential criteria, some of the questions do not lend themselves to the usual guidance (of providing one evidence case study per question). Can you confirm that bidders are able to respond to the questions in the most appropriate way for each criteria, or do you still one 1 case study per criteria as set out in the guidance?
We would encourage the bidders to respond in the most appropriate way for each criteria.
3. Is this work to be completed on Jira Cloud or Jira Data Center?
Jira Cloud
4. Could you please confirm whether you are expecting the supplier to host Jira or whether that will sit with NHS NW?
We would expect the Supplier to host i.e. the Supplier to set up the account on our behalf.
5. Is the Jira instance already setup, and if so which version is it? Also, is it server, datacentre of cloud?
The Jira instance is not currently set up. We envisage it needing to be cloud based.
