Questions asked by suppliers
- 1. Can the candidate obtain CTC clearance or do they need to already have it?
- The supplier can obtain CTC clearance if they are selected. They do not necessarily have to already have it.
- 2. Do you require a CV at this stage and if so do you have the email address these need to be sent to?
- A CV may be requested if you are selected and full details for where you are to send this will be provided.
- 3. Could you be flexible on the start date as our specialists wouldn't be able to start until 3rd April?
- Yes, potentially. Certainly worth putting in a bid if you are interested.
- 4. Is there any scope for a content designer or team of content designers to work remotely for HMPO? We deliver this service remotely (with lots of face to face time and attending workshops etc). Paired Writing just makes it even easier to collaborate.
- Potentially. It depends on where your team is based and so where HMPO staff would need to travel to. Or indeed, if your staff work remotely in different locations. Worth putting in a bid for us to consider.
- 5. Are you open to accepting applications from people who are only available to work 4 days a week?
- Yes, we can be flexible on number of days available each week.
- 6. Can you clarify which content management tool you have chosen please. Thanks.
- Thank you for your question. At this stage the content management tool has not been selected – although we are considering Liferay. We believe we can begin the process of improving our existing guidance on the understanding that it may need to be “modified” to fit the tool finally selected.
- 7. The specification says content designers must be "available 5 days a week". Is it therefore likely that you would, in practice, require some content designers for fewer days per week? (Alternatively, will there will be some intense periods – e.g. initially – but this would not run throughout the project?)
- Applications from suppliers not available for the full five days a week will be considered, but they must be available for at least 3 days.
- 8. What is the rate for this role?
- The day rate will be part of your evaluation criteria.
- 9. What is the rate for this role?
