About the work

Early market engagement
Who the specialist will work with
Relevant DVSA stakeholders
What the specialist will work on
The Digital Data and Technology (DDaT) resourcing project will look at DDaT as a profession.

We will look at attraction, retention, pay, development opportunities, graduate schemes, the organisation chart itself.

We need a Business Analyst to help us to look at the recruitment and resourcing and ensure we have covered all areas and have covered in our scope everything that is needed to ensure DDaT is recognised as a profession in the future and has clear guidelines on what to recruit to.

Existing processes would need to be reviewed and a smoother candidate application process implemented including better attraction strategies.

Work setup

Address where the work will take place
The DVSA is working on a ‘hybrid’ model with staff working at a combination of office locations and from other suitable locations.

Supplier staff may be able to carry out some collaborative work remotely but would be expected to occasionally, when required, travel to DVSA locations.

Travel, accommodation, and expenses, as required, must be pre-agreed and must be in line with the DVSA Travel and Subsistence (T&S) Policy.
Working arrangements
Predominantly a full-time role for the duration of the contract.

Working week is 5 days a week. 37 hours per week Mon-Fri, negotiable depending on need, flexible hours but availability for meetings between 10-3 as core.
Security clearance
Suppliers should only put forward interims who have a valid Basic Disclosure Scotland Certificate, or higher if requested and are reminded that interims must be security cleared to Baseline Personnel Security Standard level before they can start in a role.
