Questions asked by suppliers

1. Is there any incumbent?
No. There is a Team Lead with GIS responsibilities but little remaining capacity. This opportunity is specifically to address the need to get immediate expertise to help tackle this workload.
2. Does this role fall under IR35? The day rate given is inclusive of VAT just wanted to confirm the day rate excluding Vat is £567 ?
Successful applicants will be treated as a consultant and payment made via PO and Invoice therefore it is considered that this role is outside of IR35. The rate is £680 per day including VAT which is indeed £567 when VAT is excluded
3. Is there a possibility the deadline for this request could be extended by a week?
Unfortunately not. In order to do this we would need to withdraw the request and resubmit which would unfortunately delay the much needed start for this post.
4. Have you classified this work as inside or outside IR35?
Successful applicants will be treated as a consultant and payment made via PO and Invoice therefore it is considered that this role is outside of IR35.
5. Is this opportunity inside or outside IR35?
Successful applicants will be treated as a consultant and payment made via PO and Invoice therefore it is considered that this role is outside of IR35.
6. Does the maximum charge out rate of £680 per day include or exclude VAT?
The rate is £680 per day including VAT which is £567 when VAT is excluded
