- The Environment Agency's National Lead for Data Acquisition and staff who maintain and/or use the Detailed River Network, OS MasterMap Water Network and Earth Observation data.
- What the specialist will work on

1. Review use of the Environment Agency's Detailed River Network (DRN) and Ordnance Survey's MasterMap Water Network (OSWN) within the Environment Agency to understand requirements for decommissioning the DRN.
2. Review how and where Defra's Earth Observation data is used within the Environment Agency in order to understand requirements for integration.

- Although an address has been provided where the work will take place, it is anticipated the individual will work remotely; therefore the individual needs to have the necessary equipment to attend video calls.

- No. Experience of spatial and earth observation data is fundamental to the work. The successful candidate will need to provide recommendations on the steps we need to take to decommission data and integrate data. The successful candidate will need to understand the challenges we may encounter, especially around cloud based processing of earth observation data; which is why we need to buy-in this expertise.
