About the work
- Why the work is being done

On the 1st January, the system needs to be fit for purpose to allow individual fishers and companies in the industry to apply for project funding across a range of categories. The system will have MVP functionality on 1st January, with Phase Two of development covering improvements and new features to the platform.
There has been an initial phase of development which has built upon an existing system and an MVP has been delivered. - Problem to be solved

MMO are looking for a Supplier to further develop an existing system and require a supplier to undertake the associated activities for the next planned phase of development. Further development is required to add the following:
•Capability for users to submit the application online with an e-signature and associated features
•Enhanced reporting tool for MI
•Data model mapping, implementation of the model and changes to grant rate structures
•Any other improvements and/or additional functionality to meet new requirements for the funding system
The system will need to be supported in the live environment working to an agreed SLA. - Who the users are and what they need to do
- Users in the fishing industry need to access a digital system to apply for relevant project funding to improve their businesses. The MMO Grants Team need a system to process applications for that funding and to provide accurate MI on the activity.
