The role will work with multiple projects, including infrastructure, applications development and service management, as well as teams across Border Force, the Home Office and other government departments and agencies. Key interactions will be with Border Force operational staff and Home Office technical teams.

1. Should bidders submit an application for each position 1/2 and 2/2 or will an application on position 1/2 be considered for position 2/2 if not successful on position 1/2?
There are two posts; applications will be considered against both posts.
2. Who should submit Evidence?
Evidence should only provided by bidders that can confirm yes to all Technical and “Nice to Have” experience.

Any responses unanswered or has not confirmed yes will NOT be considered. There is no variation in this request; the DoS system will also reject submission and the Authority will not have site of response.
3. Where and when do I submit my Evidence?
All responses must be received by the Home Office (via Cyclamen.Commercial@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk] by 11:59 on the on the closing date of this procurement. Reponses after this time will not be considered.
4. What format must Evidence be in?
Evidence must be in CV format. All CV’s must be provided in Portable Document Format (.pdf). The CV file must be in the following format: ‘YYMMDD_PROC**_SUPPLIER NAME_Candidate Name_CV_RoleTitle.

Responses in any other format will not be evaluated.
5. What is the maximum number of pages of CV and Font Size?
The maximum number of pages per CV is 4 sides of A4 in Arial, font size 12. Any CV which is longer than the specified limits will be truncated and only the [4] four sides of A4 will be evaluated.

The post will operate across the whole of the Border System Improvements.

There is no number for a supplier to use; this is an internal naming convention. As long as the CV is clearly identifed as per instructions this will suffice.

I can confirm that the successful supplier for delivery of these roles will not be prevented from bidding for any future work within the Cyclamen Progamme. Any potential conflict of interests will be addressed at the time on a "case by case" basis.

15. Is the stated rate inclusive of any reasonable T&S Expenses. If exclusive, is there an expenses policy or guide available?
T&S would be on top of rates and would come under the Home Office travel policy. Expenses will only be paid for travel costs in excess of the normal home to office journey. Travel is expected to be at standard class and must be authorised in advance. The Home Office travel policy will be supplied tot he successful candidate.

It should be noted that it is expected travel will be infrequent.

All evidence must be received PRIOR to the submission date. All late responses will be disregarded.

No, suppliers may submit as many CVs as they wish. these will be considered against both roles.
18. What is the proposed commercial engagement period for these roles?
The commercial engagement will be for a period of up to two (2) years.
19. We wish to put forward candidates for each of the Programme Manager and Project Delivery Manager roles. In light of the response requirements detailed how would you advise us to articulate the value that a single team will provide in our response to each role.
