Questions asked by suppliers

1. Expected contract length
Approx 1 month full time, but could be anywhere from 3 weeks to 2 months – to be agreed before starting and will depend on day rates and whether the specialist is working full/part time etc.
2. What is the budget
Will depend on the specialist’s skill level (i.e. day rate) and availability, but we are considering approx.. £10,000 to £15,000 total.
3. Is there a current incumbent
No
4. What is the IR35 status
It is anticipated that the rules will not apply but this will need to be determined once the ‘worker’ status is known.
5. Can you confirm the max day rate
There is no max day rate. Our assumed contract length and budget are based on assumed day rates up to £750/day, but we would consider paying a higher rate for someone with exceptional skills/experience (possibly for a slightly shorter contract duration).
6. What is the earliest start date as opposed to the latest start date
Monday 7th Sep
7. Is UK rail industry experience a must
This is not essential. The applicant will need to get up to speed on a large and complex set of data inputs very quickly, so this would be much easier if they were familiar with some of the terminology – but this is not essential.
8. Is this a full time Mon-Fri 9-5 role
We are happy to discuss different working patterns (e.g. 50% every day, 3 days per week, weekends etc), but we are looking for a very fast, reactive exchange of ideas and solutions between the specialist and the project manager.
9. Please confirm required security clearance
DBS
10. Will you consider working with offshore candidates
No
