This is a continuous improvement project, its goal to improve the core systems and tools used to manage, maintain and operate our assets by replacing a number of existing asset management IT systems.

About the work
- Early market engagement
- The project has been underway since 2017. We are currently mid way through the configuration for flood risk management, which will run through to October 2020. Following will be the Environment & Business Configuration running through to September 2021.

There is a full IT and Business Team in place for this work.
This role will report to the Business team but will work closely with the enterprise and data architects as well as the existing business analyst. - What the specialist will work on

STARTING 30TH NOVEMBER 2020
• Act as scrum master on the agile develop of the Flood Risk Management and Environment & Business Asset Management IT system.
• Provide in-depth knowledge and advice on both the current applications (being replaced) and the new AMX Solutions application. Understanding how our data and business processes and data will migrate and work in the new system.
• Provide additional Asset Management knowledge around the inspection, maintenance and delivery of asset maintenance, including the allocation of funding.

Skills and experience

- Essential skills and experience

- Must have prior knowledge of the Environments Agencies existing asset management systems, i.e AIMS: Inventory, AIMS: Planning and CMMS.
- Must have a working knowledge of the functionality and configuration of the chosen asset management systems. COTS packaged supplied by AMX Solutions.
- Must have working knowledge of the asset management processes within the Environment Agency.
- Must be a certified Agile Scrum Master.
