Questions asked by suppliers
- 1. Is this role inside or outside IR35?
- Inline with the requirements of this framework. This requirement is outside of IR35.
- 2. What level of security clearance would be needed for the role?
- There are no security requirements for this role.
- 3. Please can you confirm if the rate given needs to include VAT or will VAT be added ontop?
- Rates should exclude VAT.
- 4. Is there an incumbent in the role?
- This is a new role and there is no incumbent.
- 5. Would the authority be open to an offshore model during the current Covid-19 pandemic and then revert to onshore delivery thereafter?
- Given the nature of the project and the interactions required, off-shoring is not something we are considering in meeting this requirement
- 6. Are you considering non-London based resources for this "work from home" position?
- We would consider a non-London based resource. However, they would have to understand that once normal working practices resume they would need to be based in London and meet any costs that would be required in doing so themselves.
