Who the specialist will work with
The senior project manager will manage a project associated with IPO's Transformation programme. The candidate will work across the organisation, including key stakeholder management at all levels of IPO to effectively plan monitor and control their project to deliver the outcomes required to time cost and quality.

Intellectual property office are transforming their business services, within the scope of Transformation programme, is to create services that are:

This is a great opportunity to work on a high-profile programme that will deliver transformed IP services.
The successful candidate will work within the transformation programme team to deliver new ways of working and new services to IPO.

No there is not an incumbent
2. Can you confirm the IR35 status please?
As we will be contracting for outcomes this will not be considered Contingent Labour and will therefore fall outside of IR35.
3. Will you sponsor the SC process?
IPO are able to support the SC Clearance process for consultants if necessary. Staff must provide BPSS and DBS checks before starting.
4. Is the rate inclusive or exclusive of agency fees?
The rate is the max day rate IPO will pay excl vat.
5. Hello, here is what we can see upon submission:
• Buyer's maximum day rate: £750 per day
• Your maximum day rate: £650 per day
The JD states the budget all in is £750; why am I unable to submit our contractor at the full rate of 750? Or does it means it is capped at 650 to the contractor and 750 to the agency? I just hope to clarify this, Thanks!

6. Does the project involve 'transformed IP services' or is that a typo of IPO?
The project will deliver transformed Intellectual Property services
7. For duration you say "6 months initially with opportunity to extend". Can you provide any more information on this? Is there a known requirement for the role for an extended period? Would extension be applied to this contract or would a new competition be run?
There will be the opportunity to extend for up to 2 years. If extended a new competition would not be run.
8. Can you please confirm the IR35 status?
Also would you consider someone with DV and would you continue to hold it during the contract?
As we will be contracting for outcomes this will not be considered Contingent Labour and will therefore fall outside of IR35. DV would be accepted and it could be continued for the contract.
9. Q1. Will you sponsor or initiate SC for the right candidate?
Q2. Will you accept someone with SC lapsed last month or so?
