Early market engagement A discovery exercise has been carried out to understand how to maximise integration and re-use potential and gain a better understanding of opportunities for integration across the
existing programme. This process has produced an interim target architecture and proposed team arrangement.
Who the specialist will work with The specialist will work directly on a supplier-led team with team with other data and product
specialists. The specialist will also work with traditional delivery and product roles within the existing programme and with SMEs across the department to ensure predictable and regular delivery.
What the specialist will work on 1. Working with Business Data Team, advising on data products and services and overarching data strategy
2. Advise Data & Analytics (D&A) on Data Product strategy, ensuring user needs are met by efficient provision of high quality reporting, insight and modelling products
3. Work with D&A and stakeholders to help design an optimised Data service
4. Work with wider Digital Department, other DWP departments and xGov, ensuring consistency of best practice approach
5. Advise on data product and service design best practices
6. Advise on delivery of aspirant distributed decentralised data operating model, ensuring value of approach can be unlocked
