Questions asked by suppliers

Questions asked by suppliers
Supplier question Buyer answer
1. What is the IR35 status of this role? As a DOS4 supplier, you have already stated that you work outside of IR35 under the framework agreement. We currently believe that this role would fall outside of IR35 but an ESI assessment has yet to be performed. Should the outcome of such an assessment not be in line with supplier expectations then there is no obligation on the part of the supplier to accept the role if it is offered to them.
2. Do you have a guideline daily rate you'd expect for this position please? This post has been approved against a maximum day rate of £1250, ex VAT.
3. Is there a current incumbent? There is a Head of Information Management currently in place, directing a plan of work which includes the various information and data standards, policies, agreements and processes for the new bodies. This post has no incumbent however the candidate would be working for the Head of Information Management, complementing their experience and knowledge to speed up delivery of key outcomes and outputs.
4. Is there a current or preferred supplier for this role please? No
5. How soon after the closing date will interviews take place in the next stage? Interviews will be held between January 7 and 10, with spill over into the next week only if necessary.
6. What is the maximum budget for this task? Please see the maximum day rate and expected contract length as published.
7. Evaluation criteria says 50% importance given to price. Any idea what sort of price you are expecting? (including the agency commission). Please see answer 5 for the maximum budget. Day rates below this budget will then be evaluated against each other.
