MaPS annuity comparison tool has been updated to ask detailed medical questions to see if they would quality for an enhanced annuity rate, These updates need testing to check that they have not affected usability of the tool and that it is still fit for purpose.

£7,000 maximum per round of testing, this should include at least lab hire, recruitment and incentives, a user researcher to facilitate the sessions, a follow-up report of the testing including supply of videos of the sessions.

Description of your participants
People looking to explore their retirement options.
People with DC pension pots only.
People aged 55+ years old who have no yet accessed their DC pension pot.
People that have either pre-existing medical conditions or suffered serious ill-health previously (more serious than high cholesterol or high blood pressure).
A gendered balance panel.
Must be able to use a desktop PC.

Research plan
A live comparison tool exists that needs user testing to check that recent updates to the tool have not affected usability.

Research location
Central London lab with the following facilities:
-Space for 6-8 people to view test
-A moderator/user researcher to liaise with our UX
-A note taker
-Eye-tracking (nice to have)
-Live streaming
-Ability to supply videos of the testing in a format to be specified by us.
-Ability to provide reporting within 7 working days of test
-Provide small video highlight clips (nice to have)
