Why the work is being done
Implementation of a new data analytical solution is key to the delivery of our digital strategy. As we embark on a programme of digital transformation it is vital that we are able to utilise data to be able to better report on performance across the organisation and provide services that meet the needs of our customers. For this to be effective we need to effect a culture change involving all key service managers.
Problem to be solved
Service users until now have not been expected to be pro-active in terms of the use of their data. To make sure that their individual service areas are improved to meet the needs of the business and the customers they need a thorough understanding of the solution and the ability to associate data and derive predictions.
Who the users are and what they need to do
As a service manager I need to be able to access and analyse data for my area of the business as well as that associated with this, in an easy to use modern design/format. I also need to be able to make predictions on emerging trends and issues based on what my data is telling me. This is so that my services can be effectively digitally transformed to meet the needs of my customers and efficiency savings made.

You will work closely with our Digital Transformation Manager and our ICT team, in particular our ICT Infrastructure Manager and our ICT Applications Development Manager. You will also work with other service managers across the organisation to embed a digital first approach to data analytics/ownership.

We anticipate that to plan the programme there will be approximately 3 face-to-face meetings, followed by a number of workshops and design/implementation days. In total we expect that to meet the deadline 20 days will be required in total.

  • Have experience of implementing Qlik Sense
  • Have experience of designing dashboards for Qlik Sense including the use of maps
  • Have experience of knowledge transfer to ICT teams
  • Have knowledge of Orchard housing system
  • Have experience of delivering interventions to encourage culture change to digital first
  • Have experience of creating dashboards to produce associative/predictive analytics
  • Have demonstrable experience of enabling an organisation to achieve cost savings as a result of using Qlik Sense
Nice-to-have skills and experience
  • Have Orchard/Qlik Sense integration experience
  • Have housing sector experience
  • Have experience of integrating other third party systems with Qlik Sense
