Questions asked by suppliers
- 1. The same specialist opportunity "Individual Specialist - ScrumMaster" appears twice on your website. Is it the same opportunity or is the requirement for this opportunity 2?
- There is a requirement for two Individual Specialists
- 2. Please could you provide contract length?
- This contract will be required until 31st March 2017
- 3. Please could you provide day rate?
- Registers of Scotland do not provide a maximum rate and expect suppliers to submit according to market rate.
- 4. Several of the specialists we have been discussing these roles with have already interviewed or are being seen this week via Harvey Nash, if these candidates are successful will these 2 roles be closed as we have seen this happen on several occasions on the DOS framework?
- This is a new requirement and does not relate to any previous roles.
- 5. As regards to the next stage, are CVs going to be used instead of the skills and experience evidence spreadsheet to create a shortlist of 9 suppliers for interview? If so, what is the expected date when CVs will be required to be submitted?
- A skills and experience evidence spreadsheet will still be used as the next stage, with CV's following after the 9 suppliers have been shortlisted. Apologies as I believe a previous question answered may have caused confusion.
- 6. The standard duration for DOS call-off contracts is 2 years with SOWs for each period. Will this opportunity have the standard 2-year call-off contract with the first SOW to 31/3/17, or is the call-off contract going to be explicitly made to 31/3/17? Doing the latter would not allow any option for RoS to extend the specialist after 31/3/17.
- Apologies for the delay in responding however after clarification I can confirm the following points. This opportunity will have the standard 2 year call off contract with the first Statement Of Work to 31/03/17. It may then be reviewed by Registers of Scotland to decide on further action.
- 7. Is there a possibility the specialist will be required beyond 31/3/2017?
- Yes, this is a possibility therefore the standard 2 year call off contract will be in place for this requirement.
