- Working on a digital-transformation programme putting MicrosoftDynamics CRM at the heart of our processes interactions with users. The programme has started and will continue to develop a web front end to interact with users through a secure account space, data will be fed to/from CRM to power transactions with users.

About the work

- Who the specialist will work with
- Working within an Agile service design, delivery and support team of circa 30 people responsible for digital transformation activities across the organisation. It’s a multidisciplinary team with software developers, testers, designers, user researchers, Dynamics developers, service designers and product owners. The Dynamics developer will work closely with all of the team as well as the users of the CRM system across the business.
- What the specialist will work on

Data Quality, Compliance and Security - Delivering new practices to significantly reduce data quality issues entering Dynamics365, address existing data quality problems, configuring a pre-production environment with production-like test data, implement a monitoring approach to validate that users are complying with policies and to systematically detect erroneous/suspicious data usage behaviour.
Services to Partners - onboard partners to Dynamics365 and provide more responsive and predictive approaches enabling their business operations inline with Microsoft’s roadmap of supported features.
Continuous Integration - Automating test code-building and deploying the solutions. We currently use Visual Studio for development site and Team City for CI build.

- The supplier is expected to supply a resource to work as part of the team. A core team is based in Glasgow city centre and work standard working hours of 9-5 Mon-Fri. It is expected that the resource would be available for physical meetings and coworking at regular scheduled times but remote working is available as long as delivery is not affected.
- Security clearance
- Baseline Personnel Security Standard level clearance is required for this role.

- Yes there is an incumbent in this role.
- 2. Would you consider someone who has had BPSS clearance previously but has lapsed or do you need it to be current?
- We do need the BPSS clearance to be current.
- 3. Is there a possibility of re-mote working (ideally 1-2 days per week)?
- There’s potential for remote working, however, it may be required for the developer to attend meetings at various days in any given week so set remote working days could not be guaranteed.
- 4. Is there any flexibility with regards to start date?
- there’s no flexibility on this as we need someone to start straight away
- 5. Will this role be within IR35?
- As per the notice this role is not within IR35
- 6. Will the candidate need to already have BPSS or will Scottish Enterprise sponsor?
- The candidate will need to have BPSS and no Scottish Enterprise will not sponsor it
