1. Is there a current incumbent and if so will they be reapplying?
There is no current incumbent; this is a greenfield programme and this is a new role within the Data and Digital Team.
2. What is the IR35 status?
This role is expected to be deemed outside of IR35.
3. Can the authority please confirm the IR35 status of this requirement.
This role is expected to be deemed outside of IR35.
4. Hi, I can see title you've put Data Architect but the description and overall job title is different. Are you looking for a hands on Data Architect to deliver the architecture? Or is it a more strategic "Head of" position? Thank you
The options to select from were limited, and Data Architect was the closest in the list. Apologies for any confusion.

This is the strategic "Head of" position. We are expecting the specialist to (not exhaustive):

Establish & operate an effective Data & Information Management Service.
Establish Policy
Evaluate and adopt standards & mandatory regulations
Assess Information Assurance risk
Mitigate & manage Information Risk
5. We would be grateful if you can confirm the essential requirement for the Head of Data & Information to have experience in the construction industry please.
Due to the nature of our overall programme of Restoration & Renewal of the Palace of Westminster, we do require a specialist with construction and major programme experience; i.e. Crossrail, HS2, etc.
