Questions asked by suppliers
Supplier question Buyer answer
1. Hi, is there a current incumbent in this role? No, this is a newly created role.
2. Can the authority confirm if they are working with an incumbent supplier? No, not for this project.
3. Can you please confirm how many days per week the contractor will be expected to work, and how long the contract is for? Please refer to both the ‘Working Arrangements’ and ‘Overview’ sections for information regarding working hours and contract length.
4. Please can WMCA confirm how it wishes suppliers to respond to the following questions as they differ from the standard ‘Provide Evidence’:
• Understand requirements for ISO27001 accreditation

• Follow agile project management methodologies
• Write financial forecast reports*
• Understand ITIL framework
• Have strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Understand network and device monitoring protocols (ICMP, SNMP, Telnet, WMI)
• Understand and write VBA code
Suppliers should provide evidence of these skill and experience requirements either by stating examples of their use in previous projects or by qualifications attained by their employees ( and which fit the requirements). Where neither can be provided, WMCA will discuss with the supplier should they reach the interview stage.
5. • Understand and write VBA code
• Additionally, can the WMCA please provide further details on this requirement?
